Operation White Noise Release Date: All You Need to Know

Apr 4, 2024

Rainbow Six Siege enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the release of Operation White Noise, the Year 2 final expansion for the game. Ubisoft introduced this thrilling addition on November 19, 2017, during the Year 2 Season 4 Pro League Finals. Soon after, on November 20, the game's developers released it on test servers for a three-week trial.

For those who were part of the Siege's Year 2 Season Pass holder, the exciting news is that the Operation White Noise came out on December 5, 2017. The expansion brought in all-new content to Rainbow Six Siege, including three new operators from Poland, South Korea – Dokkaebi, Vigil, and Zofia, as well as a new map, the neon-soaked Mok Myeok Tower. Along with these additions, it also packed an array of new weapon skins and other visual customizations to keep players engrossed in the gameplay.

However, players who do not own a Year 2 Season Pass had to wait a week longer for the new content. The operators became available for purchase using in-game currency on December 12, 2017. For those who missed the excitement, you can always grab the available downloadable content from your preferred online stores and dive into the action.

Overall, Operation White Noise is a fantastic expansion for Rainbow Six Siege's second year and promises a thrilling gaming experience for all Siege fans. With its gripping content and innovative approach to the gameplay, the expansion has definitely been worth the wait.
