Operation White Noise Release Date for Xbox One

Apr 5, 2024

Excitement among Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege players surged as Ubisoft announced Operation White Noise, the tactical shooter's latest and final major expansion for the game's second year. Scheduled for release on December 5, 2017, Xbox One users eagerly awaited the chance to dive into the new content alongside their PC and PlayStation 4 counterparts.

Operation White Noise introduced a new map set in Seoul, South Korea called Tower, which featured a multi-story building full of vertical gameplay options. The expansion also brought three new operators to the game, adding an extra layer of strategy and skill with each unique ability and play style.

The South Korean operators Dokkaebi, a hacker adept at breaching defenses, and Vigil, a master of stealth, made their appearance. In addition, Operation White Noise brought a third international operator into the mix, Zofia Bosak - a Polish attacker joining her sister Ela in the Siege line-up.

As Xbox One users geared up for the much-anticipated December 5th release date, they were also treated to a free weekend event from November 16th to 19th for those who hadn't yet experienced Rainbow Six Siege, as well as discounts on the game itself.

Additionally, Year 2 Season Pass holders were given early access to the new operators for seven days, while other players had the opportunity to unlock them using in-game currency or R6 Credits starting December 12th.

With the arrival of Operation White Noise on Xbox One, Rainbow Six Siege proved to be a continuously evolving and thrilling experience for players, keeping them engaged and eager for more content in the future.
