Rainbow Six Siege: When Does Operation White Noise Release?

Apr 5, 2024

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, the popular first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal, consistently rolls out new content for its dedicated players throughout the year. One such anticipated update was Operation White Noise. As a part of the game's Year 2 content, Operation White Noise was officially released back on December 5, 2017.

This expansion introduced a brand new map set in South Korea, called Tower, and three new operators: Zofia, Dokkaebi, and Vigil. The Tower map provided unique vertical gameplay elements for players as they navigated an observation tower with multiple floors, including a nightclub, an art gallery, and a traditional tearoom.

As for the new operators, Zofia is a Polish attacker equipping launcher capable of firing both concussion and explosive rounds. Dokkaebi, on the other hand, is a South Korean attacker known for her hacking abilities, allowing her to change the tides of the battle by accessing the defending team's camera feeds. Lastly, Vigil is a South Korean defender who brings new stealth abilities to the game; he can make himself invisible to cameras and drone feeds.

Operation White Noise also introduced numerous gameplay improvements and bug fixes, which showed Ubisoft Montreal's commitment to creating a polished and balanced experience for its players.

While Operation White Noise has been available for a few years now, the game's developers continue to introduce fresh content, balancing patches, and exciting new expansions. Rainbow Six Siege fans can undoubtedly look forward to new updates that will expand upon the game's already rich content library.
