Rainbow Six Siege: White Noise Release Date and Details

Apr 5, 2024

Rainbow Six Siege has been the go-to game for first-person shooter enthusiasts since its release in 2015. To keep fans excited and engaged, the game has had various expansions and new additions throughout the years. One such addition is the highly anticipated White Noise update. So, when does White Noise come out for Rainbow 6?

White Noise was officially released on December 5, 2017.

Ubisoft, the developer of Rainbow Six Siege, planned this content update as a part of Operation White Noise, which was the final expansion of the game's second season. The update brought a variety of new content, including three new operators, a new map set in South Korea, and numerous gameplay updates that enhanced the overall experience for players.

The new South Korea map, Mok Myeok Tower, features a modern, multi-level building with various pathways and vertical vantage points to test your tactical skills. With the release of White Noise, players were also introduced to three new operators - Dokkaebi, Vigil, and Zofia, each with their own unique abilities and specialties.

Dokkaebi, a South Korean attacker, has the ability to hack cameras and enemy phones, creating a new level of strategy for Rainbow 6 players. Vigil, another South Korean character and defender, is able to become temporarily invisible to cameras, giving him the necessary stealth advantage. Lastly, Zofia, a Polish attacker, is equipped with a double-barreled grenade launcher and has the ability to self-revive, making her a formidable opponent.

In addition to the new characters and map, White Noise also introduced numerous bug fixes, patches, and balancing improvements to existing operators. These updates helped create a smoother and better gaming experience for Rainbow 6 fans.

So if you're a fan of Rainbow Six Siege and have not tried out the White Noise expansion yet, now is the perfect time to dive back into the thrilling tactical action with new operators and map to explore.
