Studio One: Generate Pink Noise in Simple Steps

When working with audio mixing and mastering, pink noise can be an essential tool for balancing the frequency spectrum and achieving a more professional sound. In this article, we will guide you through a step-by-step process on how to generate pink noise using PreSonus Studio One, one of the most popular digital audio workstations (DAWs).

Step 1: Open Studio One and Create a New Project
Launch Studio One and create a new project. Select the appropriate settings for your project such as sample rate, resolution, and timebase.

Step 2: Add an Instrument Track
After creating your project, add a new instrument track by clicking on the 'Add Track' button located at the top left corner of the arrange view. Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut 'T'.

Step 3: Load the Mai Tai Synthesizer
In the instrument track, click on the browse button to open the browser window. Navigate to the Instruments tab and search for 'Mai Tai'. Drag and drop the Mai Tai instrument onto the instrument track.

Step 4: Enable the Noise Generator in Mai Tai
