Experiencing issues with your Alexa device not playing pink noise throughout the night can be frustrating, especially if you rely on it to provide a consistent sound environment for sleep. Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to resolve this issue. Here's a simplified guide to help keep your pink noise playing all night long.

Firstly, verify if your device has any built-in sleep timers that might be causing the noise to stop. You can do this by saying, 'Alexa, cancel sleep timer' to ensure no active timers are affecting your playback.

Secondly, check your Alexa routine settings. Make sure you have a routine set for playing brown noise that does not have an end time specified, or confirm the end time encompasses your entire sleep duration.

Next, consider your subscription and app settings if you're using a third-party service like Spotify or Amazon Music for the pink noise playback. Some services may have limitations on how long they can stream without user interaction. You may need a premium subscription for uninterrupted playback.

Additionally, make sure your Alexa device is not set to 'Do Not Disturb' mode, as this can sometimes interfere with continuous playback. To disable it, simply say, 'Alexa, turn off Do Not Disturb'.

Your Wi-Fi stability is also crucial. A weak or intermittent connection could be the reason for the interruption. Check your router's location and ensure your device is within a reliable range.

Lastly, reboot your device. Unplug your Alexa device for about 15 seconds and plug it back in to reset its connection. Sometimes a simple reboot can correct any minor glitches causing the audio to stop.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, visit Support for Alexa Devices for further troubleshooting or contact customer support for assistance. Staying informed on updates and maintenance from Alexa and third-party apps can also help prevent these issues from arising.
